Why Women Should Gather

Why women should gather -

The Importance of Sisterhood

Throughout history, women have gathered in kitchens, under trees, beside fires, and in circles of care. These gatherings were not only social; they were sacred. They were places where women could exhale, share stories, cry, laugh, and be witnessed without judgment.

In a world that often moves fast and values independence above all, we sometimes forget the nourishment that comes from being together. Sisterhood reminds us that we do not need to walk through life alone. It is within the company of other women that we find reflection, healing, and strength.

When women gather, something ancient awakens. Our nervous systems relax. Our hearts remember safety. Our souls recognise home.

Collaboration Through Expression

Women are natural collaborators. This is not something we need to learn; it is something that lives within us. Expression is at the core of feminine energy. When we speak, sing, cry, or share, we release emotion and create flow. In circle, this expression becomes amplified. One woman’s voice opens another’s heart. One woman’s courage gives another permission to rise.

Gathering in sisterhood invites collaboration instead of competition. Each story becomes a thread in a greater tapestry, showing us that we are connected, not divided. In this space, women learn that their expression is medicine for themselves and for others.

Competition as a Masculine Energy

Competition belongs to a different energy, one that has its place but can feel heavy when brought into the feminine. When women compare or compete, the natural flow of collaboration becomes blocked. The feminine thrives not on hierarchy but on connection.

In sacred spaces, there is no need to prove or perform. Each woman is valued for who she is, not what she achieves. When we shift from competition to collaboration, we remember that another woman’s success does not take from our own. Instead, it expands what is possible for all of us.

The Sacredness of Circles

The circle has always held deep symbolism. With no beginning and no end, it represents equality, unity, and flow. In a circle, everyone is seen. Everyone is heard. No one sits higher or lower; every woman holds her own light and her own medicine.

When we gather in circle, we step into an ancient rhythm. We listen deeply. We share from the heart. We remember the power of being held and of holding space for others. Circles are where healing begins, creativity awakens, and connection returns.

These gatherings are not just a luxury; they are a necessity for our wellbeing. They help us reconnect with the truth that we are not separate, but part of a collective feminine energy that thrives on love, empathy, and presence.

Yoni steaming does have possible side effects for some women and there are some women who shouldn't steam, particularly if they are on certain medications. Do not steam at home if you're unsure of the possible risks and are on birth control, medications or even drink alcohol regularly! There are certain herbs that conflict with these substances in your body, and we want to support you—not make things worse. Those who should not steam include: Pregnant women (the clearing-out effect can sometimes lead to miscarriage in early pregnancy) Menstruating women (can cause heavier flow and dehydration) Women with their tubes tied (cleansing of your reproductive system and scar tissue can make you fertile again) Women with infections characterised by a 'burning itch' (steaming can cause heating effects if this is the case) Women who require a practitioner and should not steam at home: Women in their first ever yoni steaming session Women whose menstrual cycles last less than 27 days Women who experience hot flashes or night sweats Women with an IUD (either marina or copper) Young women (13 years or younger) Women prone to yeast infections or who have herpes Women on any form of birth control Women who are on any form of medication (some herbs react with meds, so to make sure we compose the right herb pack for you, let your practitioner know what you use and why) Women who drink within 24 hrs of steaming (before and after) Women who can steam from home: If none of the above affects you, then steaming is generally safe. We do recommend you book a mini consultation before steaming at home to ensure you are educated in best practice and get the most benefit out of your steam.

Yoni steaming is only one portion of the holistic health journey. It can be incredibly powerful in helping you feel connected to your divine feminine, including your innermost beautiful power—your bodily gift that brings life, love and pleasure to yourself and to the world! We live in a day and age where we have lost touch with this amazing part of ourselves and it's time for us to embrace it. With many of the physical benefits that help bring the body back to balance, it truly is such an important part of our life that we can now claim back and support. We all know how important our diets, exercise and meditation are for our mental and physical health. This is just another way to show yourself some love and improve different parts of womanhood in all aspects of hormonal reproductive health. We recommend this practice is used in addition to all the healthy habits you are already working on. This can allow the steam to assist you ten-fold, as it makes it easier for it to soak into your body, improve your blood circulation and have less to fight with.
